Matthew 7:21-23 declares that in the 100 years of Isaiah 65:20, the “short time” of Revelation 20:3, that there will still yet be many false Christians, even though they had the opportunity of another lifetime to learn and accept the truth and repent.
Does Matthew 7:21-23 make sense if there’s no 3rd resurrection? Luke 13:22-30 another version of Matthew 7 with much different words. Must cross reference.
The Greek word for “many” in Matthew 7:21 confirmed as multiple or many in number. But doesn’t have to be a great number. Could be just multiple.
Most common verse used to teach 3rd resurrection:
Revelation 20:13-14 are both referring to the “2nd death” and says nothing about a 3rd death or a 3rd resurrection. It seems to be the same event of verse 12.
It’s very clear to me that this chapter is speaking about a total of 2 resurrections only.
Revelation 20:5 “rest” = Greek 3062 Loipos can mean “others”, doesn’t require all others.
Also very common to teach 3rd resurrection:
Daniel 12:2 Some rise to everlasting contempt. (Really refers to two, not three.)
John 5:29 Resurrection to life, resurrection to being judged. (Really refers to two, not three.)
Nothing in Isaiah 65:20 about 3rd resurrection, or some to condemnation only. It also references same time period of changing eras from 100 years to eternity.
Ezekiel chapters 37-40 references end of current lifetime, and the 2nd Resurrection, but no reference to any 3rd resurrection.
Gospels really don’t have any teachings/parables to a 3rd resurrection.
All people in the Old Covenant time era must rise in the second resurrection because there was no salvation available to anyone in that era. So that would include people who had been heard the truth but didn’t repent. Same as today in the New Covenant time era.
Also even Moses, Jeremiah, Noah and other prophets and servants of God in the Old Testament must go through the Second Resurrection, they not yet having been completed in Christ. Same with many in the false churches today.
In the book of Peter, God wants everyone, as much as possible to be saved. Very few, by comparison, will perish in The Lake of Fire. God won’t lose the majority of mankind.
Matthew 12:41-42 Second Resurrection: “The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here. The queen of the South [the queen of Sheba] will rise up in the judgment with this generation [the people of the first century] and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and indeed a greater than Solomon is here.”
Matthew 25 and 1 Corinthians 15 are both Resurrection chapters that speak nothing about a 3rd resurrection.
Lazarus? Luke 16:19-31
This was never used by the Worldwide Church of God to teach a 3rd resurrection, because they realized that the story of Lazarus wasn’t a telling/statement of prophecy, but rather only teaching the stubbornness of people, not actual resurrection.
And we know now that it was a story of the Talmud, that Jesus was using their own fable against them.
Even as Paul in 1 Corinthians 15 wasn’t teaching that we should baptize ourselves for our dead relatives, but rather was showing how foolish and hypocritical that their own doctrines were, Jesus was doing the same by using the example of the fable from the Judaism Talmud.
Going back to my original question about Matthew 7, why/how possible for many false Christians at the end of the 100 years after the end of the 2nd Resurrection?
My final conclusion: Even as the people in the wilderness during the lifetime of Moses was stupid, having seen the great miracles of God, having seen the parting of the Red Sea, and having the great prophet Moses, and yet still didn’t trust/believe God, to repent and commit to him, and they didn’t enter into the Promise Land, the same in the end.
Even as the people in Noah’s time had the great prophet Noah, but still didn’t repent. Even as there were many in the time of Paul and the apostles, that didn’t repent.
Even as there will be some in the 1,000 years that won’t be willing to commit to Jesus although He will be present on Earth at that time. Zechariah 14.
I have honestly examined this issue over and over again, with sincerity for the truth and willing to confess and repent and correct the teaching if wrong. I have examined all points made by other websites claiming 3 resurrections. I have found no proof of 3 resurrections. Only 2.
There will obviously be people from both eras, old and new covenants, in the 100 years.
I really don’t believe that God will NOT give that final 100 years to anyone that needs it, considering the confusion of corrupted bibles, corrupted pastors, corrupted churches, corrupted society and the entire world having been corrupt. GOD is completely fair and righteous.
GOD is the Good Judge. He’s completely fair. Even as the good judge locally gave brother Jared a second chance, and a chance to prove himself, so does God. God is truly about second chances.
God searched the entire Earth to find only one righteous man, Noah. The same is true today, in Revelation 12:9 the entire world is deceived. The entire world!
How is it possible but you show someone in the Bible the simple basic elementary truth of the Saturday Sabbath day and they still do not accept it? Yet people do not accept God's word.
How is it possible that you show people in the Bible very clear truth against Christmas, Easter, Sunday, Halloween and against the trinity and they not accept the truth? And yet people still choose lies over and above the truth.
How is it possible that people still believe in the Assyrian letter Y names (Yahweh, Yeshua, Yahshua, Yahsheo, Yehahovah, etc, etc etc. etc) instead of Jesus name? Even though there is absolutely no proof that the letter A would follow the letter Y and the E would be the next vowel in Yahweh; they are just making up their vowels when they had already claimed that there was no vowels, so they contradict themselves. They deliberately ignore the proof that satanists and witches worship YHWH just like traditional Christians deliberately ignore that satanists and witches celebrate Christmas, Easter and Halloween. Just like they ignore the history of the pagan trinity in many heathen cultures. Ignoring facts is the way of rejecting truth.
How is it possible that anyone would believe in a flat Earth? (Brother Jared had a good reply: Because they have flat brains! LOL!)
How is it possible that anyone would believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, when it’s absolutely not in scripture? People still accept lies over and above the truth.
Rebellion is the way of humanity under the influence of a corrupted world & doctrines of demons.
So yes, it’s possible for there to still be false Christians in the final 100 years. People really are that stubborn! Notice in Revelation 20 concerning that 2nd Resurrection of the final 100 years, that it does absolutely say that Satan will deceive the nations again, even the number as the sand of the seashore!
2 Thessalonians 2:10 AND WITH ALL THE DECEPTION OF WICKEDNESS FOR THOSE WHO PERISH, BECAUSE THEY DID NOT RECEIVE THE LOVE OF THE TRUTH SO AS TO BE SAVED.
11 FOR THIS REASON, THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) WILL SEND UPON THEM A STRONG DECEPTION SO THAT THEY WILL BELIEVE A LIE,
12 IN ORDER THAT THEY ALL MAY BE JUDGED WHO DID NOT BELIEVE THE TRUTH, BUT TOOK PLEASURE IN WICKEDNESS.
