The books of Maccabees were in the bibles of the first century A.D. (As well as the KJV of 1611 and the Geneva Bible of 1560. Now present in The Alpha & Omega Bible.)
We know that for sure. Therefore, should be in all bibles today, but the traditional false denominations are afraid that you would learn more about God and the bible if you had all of the bible.
The Apostle Paul said in 2 Timothy 3:16 “Every scripture inspired by God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness”. When Paul wrote that, the books of Maccabees was in the bible and would had been included in what Paul was referring to.
1 Maccabees 4:52-61
2 Maccabees 10:1-9
2 Maccabees 2:1-19
:16 “You shall do well if you keep the same days” reminds me of John 13:17 “If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them.”
Lesson of Hanukkah very important for our current time context of the war between the Israelites and Gaza and the wicked anti-Zionist people of the world.
Lesson: God’s people do lose some battles. Despite popular Christian internet meme’s we are not guaranteed victory in every battle. But God does restore. And He promises to always preserve a remnant of his people.
This teaches us patience, and greater faith and long term endurance. Opposite of the popular modern “instant” mindset. #Restoration
The need for lessons of restoration, deliverance, God’s promises, and endurance are extremely important for end time New Covenant Christians, and wasn’t erased by the blood of Christ.
John 10:22-23 Jesus was in the temple at Hanukkah, The Fiesta of Dedication (of the Temple). Obviously He wasn’t lost. He knew where He was and when and why. Obviously because it was Hanukkah.
Jesus Conceived Probably During Hanukkah
John 1, John 8:12
We know for a fact that Jesus was born around the time of the Fiesta of Trumpets or Tabernacles time frame. We know that because the bible tells us that John the baptizer was born 6 months before Jesus, and we know from documented history when John was born. Therefore, using the same calculation, we can also determine that Jesus was conceived during or around the time of the Fiesta of Dedication/Hanukkah. The festival is also called "The Festival of Lights". Jesus said "I am the Light of the world", John 8:12. John the apostle testified that Jesus is the Light in John 1. The Light was lit for mankind when Jesus was conceived.
Christmas is Satan’s counterfeit of Hanukkah Festival of Lights/Dedication.
The bible never approves/promotes annual birthday celebrations, which we know that the ancient Israelites considered as pagan and as prideful self worship. But there’s nothing wrong with celebrating conception. In fact, that’s always celebrated without condemnation. Whereas today, it’s frowned upon and they want to murder their unborn babies.
7 Holy Day seasons of the year: (7 = Number of completeness.)
1. Passover/Unleavened Bread
2. Pentecost
3. Trumpets
4. Atonement
5. Tabernacles/Last Great Day
6. Hanukkah
7. Purim
We don’t need a commandment directly from God to tell us to keep Hanukkah. -We have his personal example.
-And we have the commands of his chosen servants, the Maccabee family which was in the seat of authority of God’s people during that time. We shouldn’t disobey them today.
-And we have the good fruit and edification that comes from observing it.
-And we have the common sense to observe it.
There’s absolutely no reason not to!
The true Church of today are the spiritual Jews/Israelites (Romans 2:29) which should be keeping/observing all of the biblical holy day festivals.

Hanukkah of 2023: December 8-15.
How to observe:
-Observe by lighting 7 candles or 7 light bulbs every night of Hanukkah.
-Have a special meal on the first day/night.
-Gifts among true believers is acceptable, but only between true believers who are all celebrating the same festival for the same reason/Christ.
Christ is the reason for the Hanukkah season, not for the Christmas lie season. www.isawthelightministries.com/christmas.html
