The theme of Purim is deliverance. Jesus delivered the Israelites, the people of God, from their enemies. He still delivers today.
John 5:1 Jesus observed Purim.
Esther 1: Old Greek verses 1-11 (Not present in most bibles, but found in the AOB as it was in the oldest bible scrolls.) Foreshadowings of end time Gog Magog War of Ezekiel 38.
Esther 3:1-7 This Purim 2024, we are watching the news for major foreshadowings that might be pointing toward next Purim.
Esther 9:20-32
Psalm 18:1-3 Jesus our deliverer/Saviour.
Psalms 34:16-17 And delivers us from all of our afflictions.
Matthew 8:23-27 Jesus took control over the storm and saved the people.
Jude 1:5 He delivered them from Egypt and bondage. (Egypt is a place of sin, but also symbolism of sin, even as Babylon is.)
Exodus 12:1-30 During the Passover memorial, we are instructed to teach the children that Jesus delivered our spiritual forefathers from Egypt.
We know that the Passover lamb blood foreshadowed/represented the blood of Christ.
Therefore Passover has extremely great significance for true Christians, not just only for Jews.
Jesus is our Passover Lamb, therefore we shouldn’t neglect the memorial of Passover in the New Covenant teaching of Christ, the communion and foot washing, for baptized members only.
2 Corinthians 13:5 The 30 days from Purim to Passover is our preparation time, to carefully & sincerely examine ourselves to see if we are truly in the faith (truly saved).
1 Corinthians 11:17-34 Test yourself and other people in the church also, so that you don’t partake in the communion/bonding ceremony with people who aren’t truly saved.
1 Corinthians 5:1-8 Five decades after the death of Christ, the apostle Paul was teaching the New Covenant church to continue to keep the Feast/Fiesta of Unleavened Bread and to separate from false Christians and to kick those false Christians out of the church congregation.
1 Corinthians 5:5 Extremely clearly teaches that this life is not the only day of salvation, but rather that a person could die in their sins and still yet be saved later in another future life, the 100 years of Isaiah 65:20 after the 2nd Resurrection.
The man that Paul was writing about, was a man that had known the truth, had sat in the congregation of truth, the true church, had a true pastor, knew about the Sabbath & Holy Days and knew Jesus name and that Jesus is God, and much other truth, but was kicked out of the church because of sin, yet could still be saved in the future, after he already dies in his sin. This proves that the 2nd Resurrection is not just only for people who never had the opportunity to live in the truth or never heard the truth. But rather for anyone and everyone who doesn’t rise in the 1st Resurrection. It confirms Matthew 25:31-46 that some people get saved in that 2nd life of the 2nd Resurrection, but others do not.

From the time of Purim to Passover, the church members would be thinking about and examining their own lives and the lives of the other members. Not that we expect the people to be already 100% completely perfect, but rather, “what is the evidence of their salvation”, which wouldn’t be speaking in tongues, but rather spiritual fruit and growth in the truth and continued repentance, rather than lukewarmness or a habitual sinful lifestyle.
“Has that person been delivered?” “Is Jesus’ that person’s Master?”
Revelation 19 (Entire chapter) Deliverance from Assad & Putin, Syria, Russia, China, Iran, 666.
Revelation 18:4 He will also deliver Us from the modern corrupt world.
He delivers us from lies and deceptions and false religion Babylon.
He delivers us from our enemies and from entrapment and tricks of the devil. Depression, addiction.
