Revelation 21:8 people who love lying and practice lying as a habitual lifestyle won’t be in Paradise, but rather will perish in The Lake of Fire.
In general, we should be people of honestly. Very honest and upfront.
But there are exceptions when it’s lawful in God’s eyes for us to lie or deceive.
Joshua 2:1-6 Rahab was justified in lying for the spies in Jericho.
She is honored in the faith chapter of Hebrews 11. No condemnation against her in the bible.
Judges 4:15-24 The good woman Jael deceived/ensnared the evil man Sisera in order to kill him as Jesus appointed.
2 Kings 10:18-32 Jehu (Ju) deceived the prophets of Baal by pretending to be a Baal worshiper and summoning all the prophets. He then instructed his men to kill all of them, tear down the temple, and demolish the statue of Baal. God commended him and did not condemn him for his deception.
2 Chronicles 18:18-22 Jesus instructed an angel to deceive Ahab’s prophets. Those prophets spoke words sent via an angel, sent by God, thus those prophets spoke falsehood sent by God, in order to accomplish what needed to be accomplished for good.
2 Thessalonians 2 A lie sent by God. But God does not sin.
The “Strong Delusion/Deception” lie (fake rapture, fake coming of Christ) will be sent by God because it’s what the people deserve and asked for.

Exodus 1:15-21 The midwives feared God, and therefore let the boys live and lied to Pharoah about the circumstances. The truth is that they allowed the boys to live because they refused to murder the babies based only upon their race and gender. These midwives didn’t sin when they lied about why.
Unfair accusations against Jacob:
-The name “Jacob” means “deceiver”: False. There’s no bible verse declaring that his name means deceiver.
Jacob is Strong’s H3290: “take hold of the heel” or “supplanter/replace”. He had taken hold of Esau’s heel. But that did not prevent Esau’s birth from occurring first. But Jacob did eventually replace Esau as the person having the birthright and not until Esau willingly sold the birthright. But the fact that he was named “Jacob/replace” from birth, shows that God knew and planned Jacob’s actions.
-Purchased Esau’s birthright: Esau made his own decision. Jacob didn’t hold a knife to his throat. Esau willingly and eagerly sold his birthright, which was the will of God. There was no deception in that.
-Deceived his uncle Laban (which means White)? No. Genesis 31:20, 26. The Aramaic, Hebrew and Greek words for deception or lying is not present in these verses!
Instead, the ancient Greek word in verse 20 means “hide/conceal/secretly (information)”, and in Aramaic means to “secretly”.
In verse 26, the Greek word means “secretly run away” or to do something in secret. In verse 26, the Aramaic word is the same as verse 20, to secretly take.
Genesis 27:1-36 However, Jacob did deceive and lie to his dad Isaac when Jacob pretended to be Esau. Yes but he was only obeying his mother. And his mother had instructed him to do as God had planned. So both Jacob & his mother were doing God’s will in the deception. It was all ordained and approved of by God, and God was totally behind it, leading them.
Luke 16:1-16 The trickery of the manager.
Replacing note in verse 8 as follows: Our Master is God and all wealth is his. We should take a leap of faith with our Master's money to build the Kingdom and eternal dwellings. Most people don't exercise any faith to give tithes. We should be wise with money but also exercise faith in tithes and be crafty in evangelism. Paul was being crafty when he acted as a sinner outside the law when with such people but yet acted as a person overly focused on the law when with those people, 1 Cor. 9:19-23
On August 12, 2023, in the sermon, I spoke about that there is a time for everything including deception and cussing.
Then later in the evening time, we watched a movie called “The Sting” with Robert Redford and Paul Newman. The movie is one that I had brother Jared to download I believe around 1 week before, I estimate. We did not plan to watch it for specifically on the Sabbath, but did end up watching it that Sabbath. Although it is not a faith-based movie, it is what I needed to watch at the time to help relax my mind and just rest on the couch. We have already seen every possible faith-based movie that is worth anything. And it's very difficult to find anything new or different to watch for entertainment and relaxing.
In the movie, which we had never watched before, and unknown to us, bad men deceived other wicked men, but it was presented in a way that made us support the best of the sinners, the ones who was deceiving the others. As the others were much more wicked and deserved to be deceived and have their money stolen. It was more than just deception. It was also attaining his money by deception.
At the end of the movie, we was very glad that the deception and theft was successful.
At one time during the movie, the best of the sinners said “I keep his books. I will write down that you do not owe the money.“ This is basically the same as we read from Luke 16 during the sermon. He is the man's manager of his money. He edited the financial books on behalf of the other sinner. This is exactly what was occurring in the book of Luke and the movie both! This cannot be coincidence. This is divine confirmation of the presence and blessing and anointing of The Holy Ghost upon the sermon that week. Jesus knew and actually Jesus laid upon my heart to have our brother to download that movie. Because God knew what was in the movie. And God knew that He was also going to lay those words and that particular specific Bible passage upon my heart and that He would speak those words from my mouth during that sermon. God had this planned. Praise Jesus!
1 Corinthians 9:19-23 Paul admitted that he acted like a lawless man when he was with people who was lawless, but he pretended to be legalistic when he was with legalistic people. He was actually neither. But he acted crafty/deceitful with both groups of people in order to win them to Christ.
Lying is a sin when it brings unrighteous harm spiritually, physically, mentally or emotionally. It’s not a sin when the fruit is only good and not evil in any way.
Just because Muslims agree on this topic, doesn’t mean that we are wrong. You can find some truth in any and every false religion and cult. And it’s not just the Muslims, but also the Jews teach that there are exceptions, times, when lying is acceptable. And so does the bible as we have seen in the above multiple examples directly from the bible.
Examples of exceptions: (When it’s law/permissible to lie or deceive.)
-During torture/interrogation, to avoid giving true information about other church members, family or friends. To protect a person. (However, must never deny Christ or his name of Jesus.)
The people who hid Jews from the Nazis in World War II would be a good example.
-To trick the enemy, to avoid capture or to trap the enemy during war.
-To not hurt feelings of spouse, etc. To build up someone’s self esteem.
-If a terrorist, intent on raping any female that he could get his hands on, were to break into your house, asking if there were any women in the house, and perhaps your daughter or wife was hiding somewhere, surely lying that there’s no women in the house would be acceptable and not sin.
-There are other times as well.
Some “Christians” will reject this teaching because it doesn’t match what they have always been programmed to believe. But I have given multiple bible verses undeniably proving that there are times when lies and deception can be used for good, and not in sin.
Reminder: Clocks in the USA go backward one hour tonight. So starting next week, people in other nations and also in Arizona where they don’t change the clocks, you need to listen to the live worship services broadcast an hour earlier.
