Revelation 21:2 New Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven upon the Earth. It’s not staying in Heaven.
:10-27 Possibly 354 miles or 1380 miles (2200 km) or 1500 miles, depending on how it’s calculated.
Very literal, physical. It’s measured! A symbolic city wouldn’t be measured, nor made with specific crystal stones.
Revelation 14:1 The 144,000 standing on Mt. Zion is in New Jerusalem.
Hebrews 12:22 “But you have come to Mount Zion and (i.e.) to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem.”
Isaiah 2:1-5 “The Mountain of Jesus”, “shall be on the top of the mountains and it shall be exalted above the hills...”
Isaiah 65:16-25
66:1-2
Daniel 2:35 Mountain of God comes down out of the sky to crush all kingdoms.
There was something physically important about the element/material that was used to represent each of the kingdoms of mankind in the statue/image. Each kingdom had a direct physical connection to the type of element. It wouldn’t be logical for God’s Kingdom to not have an important direct physical connection to the Mountain that comes out of Heaven. It’s not just symbolic for government/kingdom.
Micah 4:1-2
Zechariah 8:1-3 “The LORD says this: ‘I will return to Zion and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the LORD of armies will be called the Holy Mountain.'
Psalm 48 Entire chapter.
Compared to multiple verses declaring it as a mountain, there’s absolutely no verses that declare New Jerusalem as a cube or pyramid. If New Jerusalem was a cube or pyramid, there would absolutely be a verse declaring it in a very clear manner because of how significant it would be.
It wouldn’t make sense (be logical) for the city of New Jerusalem to be encapsulated inside a building of a cube or pyramid. It’s a city. It doesn’t need to be inside another building.
It has walls outside/around it. A cube or pyramid wouldn’t need walls outside around it, because a cube or pyramid would have walls of itself.
Jesus gave the 10 Commandments on top of a mountain. Revealed his name on the mountain.
Jesus often went up on mountains to pray.
A cube or a pyramid would require leveling of the entire huge surface area of the location, removing all mountain relationship. Whereas there has always and forever been an association of mountains with Jerusalem/Mt. Zion.
