Ecclesiastes 8:11 (page 107) Because people/churches/government don’t make a strong enough stand against evil, therefore evil prospers.
contradiction = objection
“on the part of” = against
Jesus expects us to make a stand against evil, including false religion and foolishness and including the demonic Democrat party. We should make such stand within our families and friends and congregation.
Matthew 10:34-39 Jesus didn’t come to bring peace, but rather a sword of division within our own families.
You never hear this bible verse taught in the traditional churches.
Disfellowship from unrepentant sinners within family.
1 Corinthians 5:9-13 Disfellowship from unrepentant sinners within the church.
2 Corinthians 6:11-18 However, later in Paul’s 2nd letter to the Corinthian church, he includes disfellowship/forsaking people who are unbelievers and those of false religions. Whether it be husbands/wives/brothers/sisters/friends. (Luke 14:26)
Be sanitary = be clean = be saints.
Touch not the unclean.
What fellowship can we have with people who we disagree with? Who walk in darkness. They will grow to hate us, and/or we will grow to detest their sins to the needed degree of eventually detesting them even as Christ does.
Be separate
:18 be a Father to you: I will discipline him with the staff/rod of men and with the stripes (from whips) of the sons (tribal descendants) of men.
2 Corinthians 7:1 Perfecting holiness, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement (from outside of ourselves) of flesh (humans) and spirit (fallen angels).
You can’t perfect holiness if you never forsake anyone. Darkness and light can’t tolerate each other.
2 Corinthians 6:18 is related to 2 Sam. 7:14 Discipline/chastisement.
Hebrews 12:1-11 Discipline isn’t pleasure for either side. But extremely necessary.
Sometimes Jesus disciplines us via the law, police, courts, governments, military, war, sickness, finances and other types of problems, but also via the church administration i.e. pastors.
Proverbs 13:20 The wise walk with the wise. Fools walk with fools.
Old saying “Birds of the same flock, flock together”.
:24 “He who spares the rod (punishment) detests his son, but he that loves (more) is diligent to chasten him”.
It’s a matter of who you love most. God or humans?
We are to put God first in all things, not most things, but rather all things.
And it’s a matter of loving people enough to exercise tough love.
When people are addicted to drugs, many times, there comes the time to forsake them for several reasons. Including to protect yourself. But also to show them that you won’t condone their addiction.
Tough Love is serious and deep Love. It’s true Love.
It’s not hate.
I don’t expect people to always quit their jobs and forsake every lost person in the entire life. We can’t escape from the world entirely.
It’s realistic that we will have jobs among lost people and neighbors, family and friends who are lost, who we don’t forsake.
But there comes a time to everyone of us, that we will need to forsake someone for something. We must accept that challenge and that level of love when necessary. It’s the best for both that person and ourselves.
We have to guard ourselves and our family, household, church and community.
We can’t allow people to use us.
We can’t allow people to mistreat us.
We can’t allow people to steal from us.
We can’t allow people to endanger our soul.
We can’t allow people to endanger our lives.
We can’t allow people to steal peace from us.
We can’t allow people to hinder our relationship/obedience to Christ.
