Song: The King of Who I Am, Blessed Be The Rock
Matthew 24:14 This gospel of the kingdom, declared by Jesus to be important in the end time, in the New Covenant time period. It is the same gospel that Jesus preached.
I was recently contacted by a fool that was trying to claim that I was wrong for proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom because he claimed that we are supposed to be preaching the gospel of grace. How ignorant can so called “Christians” be?!
The Gospel isn’t just only about grace. The real gospel includes grace but also includes prophecy, prophecy of the kingdom, knowledge of God’s will, the need for faith, the need for knowledge and understanding and obedience to God and many other things. Grace isn’t the only part of the message!
Very typical of John 3:16 people. Ignorance of scripture.
The word “Kingdom” appears 160 times in 151 verses of the New Testament!
Almost every time, about God’s kingdom, not the world’s kingdoms.
The phrase “the gospel of grace” never appears in scripture. Yet is what the false Christian said that I should be preaching instead of “The Gospel of the Kingdom” that actually is in the scriptures.
They think that God changed when the New Testament started. They don’t know that God was full of grace, mercy and love during the times of the Old Testament. They don’t believe the bible when it says that He hasn’t changed, and that He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Matthew 3:2 Jesus said “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand”.
That kingdom is more near now than it was 2000 year ago! Should we not be proclaiming it?
Matthew 6:10 The so called “Lord’s Prayer” includes “Thy Kingdom come”.
Matthew 6:33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Matthew 9:35 Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.
Matthew 13:19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is the one on whom seed was sown beside the road.
The parables of Jesus was teaching the Kingdom.
Are we not to preach the same as He preached?
Matthew 13:24 Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field.
:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one.
Notice how the people who are NOT of the Kingdom, are the wicked.
That’s why wicked false Christians don’t like the Gospel of The Kingdom.
They prefer a gospel of grace only, without obedience, without reverent fear of a king/God. They prefer a lawless, weak, soft, effeminate god. Not a Master/King.
Acts 1:3 (After Christ’s resurrection:) To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God.
The fact that Jesus continued to preach the Kingdom after his resurrection proves that it’s still important in New Covenant times after Christ’s resurrection.
Acts 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were being baptized, men and women alike.
14:22 strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying, “Through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.”
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor soft, nor homosexuals,
nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
Colossians 1:13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,
1 Thessalonians 2:12 so that you would walk in a manner worthy of the God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.
The reason that people don’t like This Gospel of The Kingdom is that a kingdom demands that we have a king, rather than Jesus being always a servant or always a baby or always dead, Jesus is a living King with a Kingdom, which therefore includes laws and regulations and ranks of authority.
People who don’t like the message of the Kingdom don’t like rules, laws, regulations or authority. They are anti-authority and anti law. They are lawless and ignorant hypocrites.
2 Thessalonians 1:5 This is a plain indication of God's righteous judgment so that you will be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which indeed you are suffering.
James 2:5 Listen, my beloved brethren: did not God choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?
Revelation 1:9 I, John, your brother and fellow partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and perseverance which are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.
John having written in the 90’s AD, still recognized his connection with The Kingdom.
Revelation 11:19 Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.”
On the day that we are caught up into Heaven for the Marriage Supper on the Day of Atonement, that 7th angel will speak those words!
Let us NOW tell the world of that day to come and invite them to attend the same day!
