Song: Rock of Ages
Psalm 91 Entire chapter.
Psalm 121 Entire chapter.
These chapters make me think of how my cat looks up at me, and how small children look up to their parents, for protection, and for clarity about whether or not something is wrong or dangerous.
Psalm 105:4 Seek Jesus and be strengthened, seek his face continually.
Psalm 27 Entire chapter.
James 4:7-8 Draw near to God first, and then resist the devil.
Draw near to God, and then He will draw near to you.
Matthew 7:24-29 House on sinking sand vs. bedrock
Matthew 11:28-30 Cast your burden on me. His yoke is easy.
Yoke = A harness/collar that is put on the neck of an animal, to control its direction. Its symbolism is the symbolism of chains.
Paul said that He was a prisoner of The Lord, Ephesian 3:1. We are to be willing slaves/prisoners, who become friends, John 15:15, and then refuses to leave, and remain obedient and respectful to our dear Master.
1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
When a severe storm, hurricane or tornado is coming, we know that a shelter might not protect us, but it also might, and we run to it for the possibility of protection. God is able to protect. He won’t always protect, but many times He does.
The shelter doesn’t grow legs and come to you. We go to the shelter.
We are to go/come to God.
Song: Leaning on the Everlasting Arms.
Live miracle/testimony was witnessed in the sermon. As I didn't realize the words of this song that Jesus laid upon my heart/mind to share.
Another miracle: After the worship services were completely finished, and we were no longer broadcasting, brother Jared was surfing through the scriptures and very quickly and "randomly" came to Haggai 1 and noticed how it warns of people falsely trusting in their physical houses and all other vanity of life, their own will, while refusing to build the house of Jesus.
